Overview of innovations in techniques with their potential applications in research on behavior and interaction:
- HR in criminology
- free-viewing enrichment in orangutans,
- ImageJ for measuring brightness and contrast
- Open Sesame
- Motion Energy Analysis for analysing quality of sleep or nonverbal mirroring
- techniques developed for comparative research (the EMG-nozzle for comparative eyetracking).
The focus will be on showing the unprecedented opportunities for innovative research due to technological advances in unrelated areas that can be used „out of the box” or adapted for specific research purposes.
DAY 2 – Friday 4 November 2022

A hands-on session in using the approach from Day 1 in CLES members’ projects.
